Executive Management

Natural Alternatives' executive management team is dedicated to the success of NAI.

Mark A. LeDoux, J.D., CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, founded Natural Alternatives International (NAI) in 1980 and is considered a highly regarded leader and spokesperson for the nutritional supplements industry. As Chairman-elect of the Board of Directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), Mr. LeDoux represents NAI’s ongoing commitment to industry and government affairs, adherence to a strong code of ethics, and continuing support in the legislative, regulatory and public affairs arenas. A graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, LeDoux received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with honors. He is also a graduate of Stanford University’s Program for Small Business Executives.

Randell Weaver, President, has more than 25 years of diverse management experience as both a top level executive and business consultant. Mr. Weaver has held senior operational and financial positions in numerous industries including food processing, telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution and retailing. Mr. Weaver graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from the University of Santa Monica, California with a Master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Kenneth Wolf, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for finance, treasury, accounting and MIS functions. Mr. Wolf possesses over 20 years of senior financial management experience with the prior 15 years associated with consumer products manufacturing companies. Mr. Wolf received his Certified Public Accountant license from the State of California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from California State University in Fresno, California.

John F. Dullea, Executive Vice President, joined NAI in 2005 upon the acquisition of Real Health Laboratories, Inc. (RHL) where he was majority shareholder and served as President and CEO since 1998. Mr. Dullea continues as President of RHL and has also assumed the position of Executive Vice President of NAI. His career spans 37 years of Domestic and International experience in the consumer products industry with Fortune 500 and multinational corporations. Mr. Dullea has also served on the Board of Trustees of the Association of Sales and Marketing Companies, a think tank for future industry initiatives. The extent of management experience and breadth of industry knowledge provided by Mr. Dullea adds another dimension to NAI’s senior management team. Dullea earned a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in mathematics at St. Peters College in New Jersey.

Alvin McCurdy, Vice President of Operations, joined NAI in November 2006 with extensive knowledge and expertise in leading international manufacturing operations. Mr. McCurdy has over 20 years experience in operations management, research and development and sales across a broad range of industries including food and beverage, consumer products and dental products. His comprehensive experience includes directing and coordinating global manufacturing and distribution operations in plants across seven countries. Mr. McCurdy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Kimberly Weld, Vice President Business Development, is an industry veteran with 17 years of experience in the nutritional supplement market. She has held positions with companies specializing in the physician, health food, sports nutrition and retail markets, in product development, operational and sales capacities. Her current position as Vice President of Business Development allows her to utilize both the industry contacts she has developed over the years and her background in natural medicine. Weld studied naturopathic medicine and also completed an advanced Financial Business Management program at Cornell University in 2006.

Pierre Teissier, Ph.D., Vice President Market Development, has an extensive background in the food and nutrition industries, with a focus on research, design and development of food and nutraceutical products, applications for improving food quality, packaging technology to extend shelf life, and an expertise in flavor/texture technology. Dr. Teissier served as Professor at the CFA Professional School in Nice Carros, France and holds several U.S. patents and pending U.S. patent applications. Teissier is a member of the Institute of Food Technologists and a Medal Winner of the French Board of Patisserie and Confectionery, Nice, France, as well as a multiple Award Winner from the International Artistic Food Shows, 1979, 1980 and 1981, Nice, France. Teissier earned a B.S. in 1978 at College Stanislas, Nice, France. He also earned a C.A.P., Professional Culinary Degree in Pastry, Chocolate Handling and Confectionery in 1980 at Academie de Nice, France. Dr. Teissier obtained his Ph.D. in Sciences Humaines & Nutrition at Academie des Sciences, Nice, France in 1986.

Nannette Monreal, Vice President Quality, has over 18 years experience in FDA regulated manufacturing facilities, including dietary supplements, drugs and medical devices. Her current responsibilities include Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Documentation Control and Validation. Monreal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Applied Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master’s Degree in Quality Assurance from the California State University at Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). She serves as a professor at CSUDH in the Masters of Science in Quality Assurance (MSQA) program teaching courses in GMP and Supplier Quality. She also teaches refresher courses for the CMQ/OE certification. Monreal serves on the advisory board for the MSQA and BSQA programs at CSUDH. Ms. Monreal is active in the Los Angeles Section of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) where she is currently serving as Programs Chair. Previously, she has served as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor for the section. She is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) through ASQ.

Fausto Petrini, Ph.D., Director, Natural Alternatives International Europe, has 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various manufacturing, laboratory and quality assurance/quality control capacities. He gained extensive experience in sterile processes and has been appointed Process Manager within the engineer team for project development of a new pharmaceutical site. Dr. Petrini obtained his Ph.D. in Biology in 1974 at the Università degli Studi – Milan, Italy.
