Board of Directors

Mark A. LeDoux, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, founded Natural Alternatives International in 1980 and is considered a highly regarded leader and spokesperson for the nutritional supplements industry. Mr. LeDoux is a member of the Board of Directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), representing NAI's ongoing commitment to industry and government affairs, adherence to a strong code of ethics, and continuing support in the legislative, regulatory and public affairs arenas. A graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, LeDoux received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with honors. He is also a graduate of Stanford University's Program for Small Business Executives.

Joe E. Davis, Director, brings over 30 years experience in finance, operations and corporate governance to the Board. He is the former President and CEO of National Health Enterprises, Inc. and former Chairman of the Board of Linear Corporation. Mr. Davis currently holds directorships for BMC Industries, Wilshire Technologies, Inc., AmericanVariable Insurance Series, and Anworth Mortgage Securities, Inc. in addition to NAI. Mr. Davis has an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and earned a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas.

Lee G. Weldon, Director and President, Nature's Apothecary, Inc., has 30 years of experience as the former President and CEO of Makers of Kal, Inc. Previously, Mr. Weldon served in the United States Naval Air Detachment in Newfoundland and Iceland.

Alan J. Lane, Director, brings to NAI over 24 years of corporate and financial institution leadership experience.  Mr. Lane is currently Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Financial Data Solutions, Inc. (“FDSI”); Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of Southwest Community Bancorp; and Director of Southwest Community Bank.  Prior to FDSI, Mr. Lane served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Business Bank of California (“BBC”) until its sale to Union Bank of California.  BBC was a $700 million commercial bank with fifteen branches in northern and southern California.  Mr. Lane earned his B.A. in Economics from San Diego State University.

Alan G. Dunn, Director, is Founder and President of GDI Consulting & Training Company (“GDI”) and a highly respected specialist in improving cost control and productivity for manufacturers.  GDI's clients include Johnson & Johnson, Amgen, Baxter and many other Fortune 500 companies, as well as the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy and other U.S. government agencies.  For years Mr. Dunn has been associated with the California Institute of Technology having taught a renowned set of courses in Industrial Process Improvement at the Industrial Relations Center.  Prior to founding GDI, Mr. Dunn was Vice President at Gemini Management Consulting and a Partner at Coopers & Lybrand.  Mr. Dunn presently serves on the Board of Directors for Idaho Asphalt Supply Company and was formerly a director for TMI Integrated Systems, Air Logistics Corporation, R.W. Lyall Company and Tomorrow’s Morning, Inc.  Mr. Dunn holds a B.S. in Business Management from California State University, Fullerton.
