Executive Team Biographies
Mark A. LeDoux, J.D., CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, founded Natural Alternatives International (NAI) in 1980. With 34 years of experience since joining the nutritional supplements industry in 1975, LeDoux is considered a highly regarded leader and spokesperson for our industry – making him one of the longest serving active executives in the nutritional supplements industry. As Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), Mr. LeDoux represents NAI’s ongoing commitment to industry and government affairs, adherence to a strong code of ethics, and continuing support in the legislative, regulatory and public affairs arenas. A graduate of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Mr. LeDoux received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with honors. He is also a graduate of Stanford University’s Program for Small Business Executives.
Kenneth Wolf, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for finance and accounting, human resources, IT and manufacturing operations. Mr. Wolf possesses over 20 years of senior financial management experience with the prior 15 years associated with consumer products manufacturing companies. Mr. Wolf received his Certified Public Accountant license from the State of California and was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1984 to 1988. Mr. Wolf holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Accounting from California State University in Fresno, California
Nannette Monreal, Vice President of Quality, has over 18 years experience in FDA regulated manufacturing facilities, including dietary supplements, drugs and medical devices. Her current responsibilities include Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Documentation Control and Validation. Monreal holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Math/Applied Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a Master’s Degree in Quality Assurance from the California State University at Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). She serves as a professor at CSUDH in the Masters of Science in Quality Assurance (MSQA) program teaching courses in GMP. She also teaches refresher courses for the CMQ/OE certification. Ms. Monreal serves on the advisory board for the MSQA and BSQA programs at CSUDH and is also active in the Los Angeles Section of the American Society of Quality (ASQ) where she has served as Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and Newsletter Editor for the section. She is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) through ASQ.
Marian Barker, Vice President of New Product Introductions and Strategic Initiatives, joined NAI in March of 2009 with ten years experience in the nutritional supplement industry, holding senior leadership positions over the past 20 years in product development and marketing. Her current responsibilities with NAI include our Research & Development and Account Management/Client Services functions. Ms. Barker holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of California at Davis and a Master’s of Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from Santa Clara University.
Fausto Petrini, Ph.D., Director of Operations, Natural Alternatives International Europe, has 30 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in various manufacturing, laboratory and quality assurance/quality control capacities. He also possesses extensive experience in sterile processes and pharmaceutical site project development. Dr. Petrini obtained his Ph.D. in Biology in 1974 at the Università degli Studi – Milan, Italy.
